What is the Willcraft Foundation?
The Willcraft Foundation is the charitable arm of Willcraft Services, the No.1 Will writing company.
What are the aims of the Willcraft Foundation?
Set up by the Managing Director and Founder of Willcraft, Colin Chapman, the Willcraft Foundation aims to contribute to the local communities where Willcraft do business in a variety of ways including,
i) Supporting local charities and organisations that specifically impact the local community
ii) Delivering food hampers to families in need at times like Christmas
iii) Developing workshops to specifically assist the 12-17 year age group to learn inter personal and 'life' skills that will enable them to make a smooth transition from schooling to the workplace. The Foundation's long term aim is to set up a 'Life Academy' which in addition to one day workshops will provide weekend courses too
How does the Willcraft Foundation raise money to do this?
The Willcraft Foundation is 'funded' by Willcraft Services donating a % of it's turnover to the Foundation for distribution as stated above. The Foundation also organises sporting and other 'fun' events to raise money. The Foundation also aims to forge strong links with other businesses that are committed to contributing to the community.
What does the Willcraft Foundation do with the money?
The money raised by the Willcraft Foundation has been used to support a variety of organisations such as, The National Childrens Homes various initiatives, Parent Carers Associations, Cancer charities, Sports Trusts and clubs and the delivery of food hampers to needy families.
